Take a character from a movie that is not a Broadway Musical and design the costume. Featured character and costume is Princess Anneliese from Barbie’s Princess & the Pauper in her main pink gown and placed her in a Rococo style gown and hairstyle.

Ash Girl: A Class Project
Ash Girl is a Cinderella story by Timberlake Wertenbaker. The play following Ash (Cinderella) and her journey to get out of her situation. In this telling, Ash Girl must not only overcome her villainous stepmother and stepsisters, but also the 7 Deadly Sins both outwardly and internally.
Because the show can be interpreted surreally or more literally, I wanted the design concept to look otherworldly to mimic those interpretation options. I was inspired by the world of high fashion, particularly by Japanese fashion designers Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto.
