The Weir

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best Play, Conor McPherson’s acclaimed drama imagines a blustery night at a small rural bar in Ireland. Amidst Guinness and whiskey, tall tales give way to something deeper within the haunts of the soul.

Using textiles to tell the story of each individual’s journey, Abigail highlights the fabric of Ireland in the late 1990s with wools, tweeds, cottons,, and lots of pattern, Every character is distinct with the finest details of locket to stripes, cluing a keen audience in to the character.
